          This week's meditation:

"Nothing is more practical than finding
God, that is, than falling in love in a
quite absolute, final way. What you
are in love with, what seizes your
        imagination, will affect everything. It
will decide what will get you out of
bed in the morning, what you do with
your evenings, how you spend your
weekends, what you read, who you
know, what breaks your heart, and
what amazes you with joy and
gratitude. Fall in love, stay in love,
        and it will decide everything.
                                                                    -Fr. Pedro Arrupe, SJ

Reflection:  What is it that you love? What keeps you getting up in the morning? What makes your heart beat with joy? This week, make a list of the things that you love. Maybe it is God, a friend, a grandparent, or a beloved pet. Or perhaps it is your church community, your work for justice or something you read recently. Post the list someplace in your living space and make sure you connect with your list of loves on a regular basis.

"I purchased your book today 'Women healing
     from abuse' as a
victim/survivor of rape.
It seems to be what I have been looking for
because it emphasizes taking care of myself.
I have found being there for others has still
been important to me, but it is time to really
give myself the space to put healing
     first...."   -Victoria, England
